This kit includes everything you need to create your own gruesome sandpit and have fun making you dinosaurs roar and swim for their lives! Discover and learn about the weird way in which quicksand reacts to sudden movement and read all about this phenomena on the fact cards included.
First create your swamp landscape by colouring in the trees and foliage, neatly slide them into the sandpit tray and then slot the sound-chip into the play area, so you can listen to the loud roar of the dinosaurs. The quicksand powder is then simply mixed with water and yellow food colouring with a sufficient quantity to use several times.
This kit supports the National Curriculum by giving children an introduction to learning about the physical properties of quicksand in a fun and fascinating way.
